If you have been following the world cup, chances are you must have already ruled out this game from your schedule.
Nonetheless, Afghanistan, the newcomers to the world cup are surely going to be a team that would love to believe they can defeat New Zealand.
Other than beating Scotland in Dunedin in southern New Zealand - their first world cup victory, Afghanistan hasn’t been able to do much. They have been trashed by Australia in Perth and on Sunday they will be facing the might New Zealand in Napier in the North Island of New Zealand.
Coming to New Zealand, Played four, won four. They are undoubtedly the best side in the tournament so far. A team that has shown they will not only be difficult opposition, but a team that is very determined to change their fate and win the world cup.
The result is somewhat evident, but what is left to be seen is while New Zealand be complacent and field some of their players from the bench or will they go with the same XI that defeated Australia in a thriller last weekend.
